WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 30, 2011) – Hawker Beechcraft learned during this week’s initial status conference at the Court of Federal Claims that the U.S. Air Force awarded the Light Air Support (LAS) contract to the Sierra Nevada Corporation and its Brazilian manufacturer Embraer last week.
WICHITA, Kan. (Dec. 27, 2011) – Hawker Beechcraft is filing a suit today with the Court of Federal Claims following notification late last week that the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has declined to review its protest of the decision by the U.S. Air Force to exclude the company’s Beechcraft AT-6 from the Light Air Support (LAS) competition.

However, the Company realized an improvement to gross margin, operating loss, and net loss for the third quarter of 2011 as compared to the same period of 2010.
